The Tesla Roadster – the first production vehicle from Tesla Motors – was delivered in February 2008. Four months before WALL-E premiered. SpaceX’s Falcon 1 became the first privately developed liquid-fuel rocket to reach Earth orbit on September 28, 2008. Three months after WALL-E premiered.
The movie dropped right between the first Tesla delivery and the first SpaceX orbit. The blueprint was published to theaters worldwide and nobody clocked it.

It is training itself to drive every car on Earth so humans never touch a wheel again. AUTO ran the ship. Autopilot runs the road. Same thesis. Same name. Same endgame.
