SpaceX IPO is today. Every news outlet on earth is going to be talking about it. Every finance influencer is going to be talking about it. Every cousin who has never bought a stock before is going to open a brokerage account and try to buy "the SpaceX stock."
Guess what they'll be searching at open: "sPacE"
Since it won't be available at open, guess what ticker will be popping up: SPCE
Hell, half of you regards will accidently be selecting SPCE after you rip your 9:25 a.m. market-open bong, since SPCX won't be available at open, and won't even realize it until you wake up from your 11am nap.
Remember when Zoom went public? Of course you don't, you don't remember 7 minutes ago let alone 7 years ago. When Zoom IPO'd, guess what rocketed 700%, not ZM, its ticker, but ZOOM, some Chinese telecommunications company. WSB was all over it, "Hey guys, just bought some Zoom! Its going way up! Wife's boyfriend, Wendy's dumpster!"
