This company was awesome already but then recently invented color LiDAR. A new generation of camera/lidar hybrids that are like cameras on steroids. The use cases are unlimited and scale way beyond normal lidar.
Ouster is already partnered with and being used in:
humanoid robots, food delivery robots, drones, autonomous vehicles, security platforms, traffic systems, government unmanned systems, and being tried out in more.
A Chinese humanoid robot recently won the first robot marathon in Beijing using an Ouster product as eyes for their humanoid robots. Even China recognizes Ouster’s products as still being superior in that market.
