Yes I used A.I for this post. But the number are true to it. Fair Value by the street is $40-45. And if they takeover the old CEO may return as well cause guess where he works. Hate my A.I , DD or not. The value is there. Calls are cheap.
🌯 CMG IS UNDERVALUED — AND STARBUCKS MIGHT WANT THE WHOLE BURRITO 🌯🚀
Ticker: CMG
Alright degenerates, hear me out.
Chipotle has gotten absolutely smoked, and I think the market may be underpricing what this company is actually worth.
CMG closed around $30.77.
My estimated standalone fair value:
🎯 $40–44
That's roughly 30–40% upside WITHOUT needing a takeover.
But then shit gets interesting…
👀 STARBUCKS TAKEOVER RUMOR
Reports say Starbucks has explored a potential acquisition of Chipotle.
NOT A CONFIRMED OFFER.
So don't go full regard and price this like a guaranteed buyout.
But if Starbucks actually comes knocking, I think CMG could reasonably trade toward:
💰 $48–55+
Why?
Because Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol previously ran Chipotle.
That's one hell of a strategic connection.

🧮 THE FUNDAMENTALS ARE STILL 🔥
Chipotle isn't some dying restaurant chain waiting for a buyer.
They're still opening restaurants and generating serious revenue.
Recent numbers:
- Revenue: $3.3B
- Revenue growth: +9.3%
- Comparable sales: +2.2%
- Transactions: +1.0%
- \~100 restaurants opened in Q2
- 2026 expected openings: 350–370
The company still has a massive runway for unit growth.
The problem?
Margins.
Restaurant-level margin dropped from 27.4% → 25.2%.
Food and labor costs are eating into profitability.
That's why I don't think CMG deserves some insane premium multiple TODAY.
But if margins stabilize while the company keeps opening hundreds of restaurants?

📊 MY CMG FAIR VALUE
🐻 Bear: $27–30
😐 Conservative: $34–37
🟢 Base: $40–44
🚀 Bull: $48–53
🌯 Takeover: $48–55+
My personal midpoint:
🎯 \~$42 FAIR VALUE
And that's BEFORE assigning a meaningful takeover premium.

🧠 THE PLAY
This isn't:
«"STARBUCKS IS BUYING CMG TOMORROW BRO TRUST ME"»
That's how you end up eating ramen behind Wendy's.
The thesis is:
1️⃣ CMG looks undervalued around $30
2️⃣ Fundamentals remain strong
3️⃣ Restaurant expansion provides long-term growth
4️⃣ Margins have room to recover
5️⃣ Starbucks takeover interest creates a potential catalyst
6️⃣ A real offer could create a significant premium
That's a pretty interesting risk/reward setup.

🎰 OPTIONS DEGEN ANGLE
For the true regards:
I'm looking at 3–6 month calls, particularly around the:
$35 / $40 / $45 strikes
But I'm NOT blindly buying them.
I'd want:
✅ reasonable IV
✅ decent open interest
✅ confirmation of bullish momentum
✅ volume increasing
✅ takeover rumors developing into something more concrete
If the rumor dies, the calls can get absolutely obliterated.
If Starbucks actually makes a serious move?
🌯🚀🌯🚀🌯🚀

⚠️ RISKS
Let's not pretend this is free money.
BIGGEST RISKS:
- Takeover rumor could be completely bullshit
- Starbucks could walk away
- CMG margins could deteriorate further
- Consumer spending could weaken
- Restaurant growth could disappoint
- Options IV could crush you even if you're directionally right
- CMG could remain cheap for a long damn time
And remember:
A rumor is NOT a deal.
Don't mortgage your house because some dude on Twitter said Starbucks wants burritos.
\---
🐂 TL;DR
CMG around $30 looks cheap to me.
Standalone fair value: \~$42
Potential strategic/takeover value:
$48–55+
You've got:
🌯 Strong brand
📈 Revenue growth
🏗️ Hundreds of new stores coming
💰 Strong unit economics
📉 Recent valuation compression
👀 Potential Starbucks interest
🧠 Brian Niccol connection
If the takeover rumor disappears, I still like CMG around $30 based on fundamentals.
If Starbucks actually makes a legitimate offer…
THEN WE EAT. 🌯🚀
