AI SUMMARY — Intel CEO's indirect investment in Lumilens (which holds warrants for 23M POET shares) signals potential future collaboration between Intel and POET, supported by Lumilens' $50M+ purchase order and top-2 hyperscaler customer. Key risks include speculative nature of Intel-Lumilens deal, POET's profitability timeline, and dependence on scaling the initial purchase order.

Recently Lumilens (a private company) raised $700M from various institutional investors as well as Intels CEO shown in the screenshot from LinkedIn. One of Lumilens few public deals is a scalable $50M PO to $POET. This will likely scale to $500M+ as announced in the initial press release months ago. Here’s where we can connect some dots. The initial PO includes warrants of 23 million shares of POET which are exercisable over a period of 9 years. This implies that now the CEO of Intel has an indirect position in POET.

Lumilens has also recently announced that their initial customer is a top 2 hyperscaler. So why is the CEO of intel investing in Lumilens? I speculate that Lumilens and Intel are going to reach some sort of agreement at some point in the future which will indirectly be good for POET. This would raise Lumilens customers to Intel and a top 2 hyperscaler that is publicly available knowledge.

Other notable increases in directownership:
\-Citadel (increased position by 184%)
\-Group one (added 1.1M shares)
\-WSB’s own prodigy (serenity)

POET is not going to be bought out for anything under 26.25 making higher strike LEAPS less risky. Why? Another institutional investor (MMCAP) invested large amounts in POET at $21/share and received warrants for $26.25. It would not be beneficial for them to sell for anything lower. They hold a large portion of shares and would likely be able to block buyouts for anything lower than that price.

Earnings are in a few days, can’t wait to see the update on the continued manufacturing scaling of POET
